Let's give some of SA's most vulnerable babies the best possible start in life.

The Cocoon program is dedicated to medically vulnerable babies under 12 months old who are in, or at risk of entering, foster care.

It's about more than providing healthcare. The program aims to meet the emotional, physical, and mental health needs of these vulnerable babies in one place, streamlining their care during their crucial first year.

But we need your help to support this work.

Donate today and help give these babies the best possible start in life.

“I have access to a specialised and diverse team who can support the job I am doing, so that together we can achieve better outcomes for our vulnerable children.”

Kate*, carer

For many caregivers, trying to navigate and access the support a baby may need can be complex and challenging. Not to mention attending multiple appointments with various health professionals, ensuring everyone is aware of the baby’s history so that their health and developmental needs are identified and met as soon as possible.

Imagine the immediate impact your compassion could have on these vulnerable infants and their caregivers this Christmas.

In addition to the Cocoon Program our support extends to purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment, delivering our Laklinyeri Beach House Program, providing immediate emergency support to families in need, reducing distress and anxiety of patients through our extensive Arts in Health Program, and investing in vital medical research. This couldn't be possible without your support.

Help us create a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of children and families who rely on the services of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network.
