More than 20 years of making a difference

Inspired by their son Sam, who passed away from Niemann-Pick Disease Type C just before his fifth birthday in 2005, Marty and Michelle Roberts founded Cycle 4 Sam to support families facing the challenges of caring for a seriously ill child. Since 2006, the Roberts family and their dedicated community have raised vital funds for women, children and families supported by the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Over nearly two decades, Cycle 4 Sam has raised more than $1 million, helping fund initiatives including Art Therapy, the Sam Roberts Family Care Room, Laklinyeri Beach House, and bereavement support through the Alongside: Grief and Loss Program. Their enduring commitment has created a lasting legacy of care, compassion and support for families when they need it most.
