Your challenge brings care, comfort and hope

Since 2006, the Cycle 4 Sam community has supported the Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation's Sam Roberts Family Fund, helping fund vital initiatives for families cared for by the Paediatric Palliative Care Service.

Thanks to this support, initiatives such as Art Therapy, the Sam Roberts Family Care Room, the Laklinyeri Beach House, and other essential services have been made possible, bringing comfort, connection and care to families when they need it most.

Sam's legacy

The Cycle 4 Sam Spring Challenge is inspired by Sam Roberts and the remarkable legacy his family has created since he sadly passed away at just four years old from Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, a rare neurological degenerative condition. Since then, the Roberts family have raised over $1 million for the WCH Foundation to support families when they need it most.

Sam's parents, Marty and Michelle, wanted anyone, anywhere to be able to take on a challenge of their choice, turning personal goals into lasting impact.
