The WCH Foundation contributes more than $2.4 million annually to improve the health and wellbeing of women, children and families under the care of the Women's and Children's Hospital and associated health network.

Week 2

Tuesday 4th Oct

Week 2 done! We had days where we felt like walking an extra few and days where we wished we could walk a few less. Either way, we are loving spending this time together and are so glad to be supporting the wonderful work of the WCH, but especially Cycle4Sam and Challenge 21.

Thank you for all of your generous donations! It's amazing how many of us have stories of support from the WCH.

Week 1

Tuesday 4th Oct

Week 1 Done! 70km of dedicated walk/run sessions. 117km of distance covered overall.

It's certainly a challenge to fit in a 10km run/walk everyday. Susy and I were glad to fit a couple of 10km straight, but other days were 6km in the morning followed by a 4km chaser in the evening.

Mondays are tough, with a couple of games of Volleyball and Netball to pack in there too, but we're up for the challenge. Susy is a trooper - working through more than a few blisters 

Every day I walk, I think about the great work the WCH does to support our community, but my thoughts are especially with the Cycle4Sam team and the amazing fundraising they do to support families and children with unique and heart-wrenching circumstances.
