I'm challenging myself to....Start learning Auslan!
I am taking on Challenge 21 to raise funds to support sick kids who are cared for by the Women's and Children's Hospital.
In the lead up to, and between September 19 to October 9 I will be challenging myself to learn the following Auslan phrases/words:
1. Hi, how are you?
2. Nice to meet you
3. Do you need help/Can I help you?
4. Are you okay?
5. Finger spelling/Alphabet
6. What is your name?
7. Good morning/afternoon/night
8. Have a nice day
9. Thank you/Please
10. Hello/Goodbye
11. Would you like a drink/are you thirsty?
12.Would you like some food/are you hungry?
13. Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday
14. Thank you for being my friend
15. Hi, my name is X
16. What is your favourite sign?
17. Colours of the rainbow/black/white/grey
18. Number signs
19. I don’t know that sign?
20. I am hearing and a student
21. Sorry I don’t understand yet/can we write it down?
