Westminster
School Year 8 students are raising funds for the Women’s & Children’s
Hospital Foundation because we want to positively impact the health and
wellbeing of women, children, and their families at the Women’s and Children’s
Hospital. By donating, you will help brighten the lives of patients and their
families, supporting brilliant care.
We
especially would like to raise funds to contribute to a large photo display
case to showcase photos and names of the Michael Rice Clinic staff and
patients. This display would help to build a sense of belonging among the families
and encourage kids to get out of their beds to engage in the display. The
therapist in the clinic said this would be good because with the requirement
for mask wearing, the photos would be able to show what people look like
without their masks, and de-medicalise the feeling of the people using and
working in the space.
