Cycle 4 Sam is a major community fundraising event led by Marty and Michelle Roberts in support of the Sam Roberts Family Fund at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation. It is dedicated to the memory of Sam Roberts who passed away on April 19, 2005 at the age of 4 years 10 months. This year we are challenging our community to take on a Spring Challenge of their choice to help raise funds. You can walk, run, cycle, go without something or even take up a new hobby – anything you’d like during the challenge period.

All funds raised through the Cycle 4 Sam Spring Challenge will support the Sam Roberts Family Fund at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation. This fund has supported a wide range of patient and family care projects. Currently, this fund is supporting the Alongside: Grief and Loss Program – a new initiative at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital that provides bereavement care for all families experiencing the death of a child.

Do I have to fundraise?

Registration is FREE and we would love it if you gave fundraising your best shot by sharing your fundraising page with your friends, family and colleagues to support sick kids.

Can I use Facebook to raise funds?

Whilst Facebook is a great way to share the fundraising link we give you, we suggest you do not create a separate Facebook fundraiser if you are prompted directly while in Facebook. If you raise money using separate Facebook fundraiser, it is not linked to your personal fundraising page and  it will not update your fundraising total on your page. We suggest you share your personalised fundraising page on your social platforms to encourage friends, family and colleagues to support your fundraising.
