Cycle 4 Sam - Challenge 24

Nineteen years since the first Cycle 4 Sam in 2006! Wow how time flies!

Sam is our nephew, so the Cycle 4 Sam events are especially important to us and we've been lucky to part of many of the rides and challenges over the years. This year, Trina and I will run 24km on the trails around beautiful Whistler, BC. It looks like the rain has stopped and the sun is out ... but it is very cold up here in the mountains!

Funds raised through our challenge will support the Sam Roberts Family Fund. This fund proudly supports families in South Australia who have children being cared for by the Paediatric Palliative Care Service of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Cycle 4 Sam - Challenge 24 - Complete

Monday 30th Sep

Trina and I completed our 24km runs today in beautiful Whistler, Canada. Thankfully, the heavy rain this week had cleared and we had blue skies and light winds ... which made for a gorgeous run through forests and beside lakes, under the towering mountains of the Coast Range.
